  The Wayback machine can't access those files, as the analogreality website is blocking crawlers with a robot.txt file... Any other ideas on how to get it?

  The Wayback machine did have access to those files before because I checked about a month ago. I just checked again and it gives me the robot.txt file error. The only explanation that comes to mind is that AnalogReality added that in recently. I don't know of any other way to get those powertoy. For the IE to OneNote, you can get it from OneNote's website. For the ImageWriter, you can wait until Onenote 12, get the Education Pack for the Tablet PC from Microsoft's website (the Education Pack has another ImageWriter that works in the same way), or some other way.
  
  Sadly, OneNotePowertoys can't host them for legal reasons.

  Although we are not allowed to host the ImageWriter powertoy, we cannot stop users from contacting other users (see Jeff's comment) and getting ImageWriter.

  Please, please, please (with knobs on), can someone send the installer my way? I've tried emailing Jeff to take him up on his kind offer (to what I guess is his addy at www.diecastaudio.com), but so far he hasn't replied.
  
  It seems crazy that we can't freely get something which Darron clearly set out to be available to all and very frustrating to know that a wonderful solution to such a basic OneNote "flaw" exists, but is juuust out of reach.
  
  My guess is that MS either (1) made Darron an offer he couldn't refuse or (2) had their lawyers speak to his lawyers - in both cases with the intent of adding the imagewriter as an "official" Powertoy after Office 12 ships - which we now know won't be for about another year :(
  
  So...like I said...pretty please?

  I'm thrilled to report that one kind reader has emailed me the installer and I am very grateful indeed for his/her thoughtfulness. He/she wishes to remain anonymous but if anyone else needs the installer, just leave a message here with an address and I am sure that someone will mail it onwards.
  
  The installer installed quickly and works perfectly, straight "out of the box". I can now happily print large *.pdf files to OneNote, where they can be annotated and manipulated quickly and easily in the usual way. 500 pages, complete with graphics, takes no more than 30 seconds or so.
  
  I sincerely hope that whatever issue prevents general release of this program gets resolved quickly - it's THE best Powertoy, IMHO and increases productivity with OneNote enormously.

  I have the imagewriter install pack. My husband taught me a few years ago to keep a folder on my desktop with ALL *.exe files, etc. in it. Now everytime I change computers, which had been 3 times in the last 18 months, I can quickly and easily get back all the random programs I have downloaded. (Thoght I would pass that tip along.)
  
  AND, can anyone tell me why the imagewriter makes pdf files look so strange and alomst illegible when sent to onenote.

  I didn't realize that the onenoteimagewriter.msi file was somehow corrupted... I had tested it, and the installation started up OK, but I didn't allow it to go through the whole process. When you do, one file is corrupted.

  Despite what others said, I was able to download and install the onenote image writer from the wayback website linke provided earlier. Here it is again:

  Hmm, the archive link worked for me, although it hadn't before (even half and hour ago). I'm not sure what I did, but I was using IE rather than my usual firefox.

  Err.. I missed mentioning,
  *Ben: the copy you pointed to at web archive is not working.. it never gets installed for me :(
  the installer reverts its operations and says "installer interrupted before completing installation. try restarting the installer" :(
  any suggestions?
