Started by adminid · 10 months ago

Dave Tse has created a really cool OneNote Web Exporter and released it via CodePlex (MS Open Source)…
What is this for?
The OneNote Web Exporter allows you to export a OneNote notebook as html files that anybody can view through a web browser.

  • Would it be possible to have the French accentuated characters on the tabs?

An other matter: How many pages is it possible to create in one section? Is there a litmited number? I have noticed that the searching capability fails if the number is too high.

    Thank you for help.
  • I've downloaded it and run the msi, but I can't seem to figure out how to launch it. Is there supposed to be a new menu item in one note or is it a standalone program? I can't seem to find it in any case.

    What am I missing?
  • It's the globe icon to the right of the zoom dropdown box.

See the installation instructions for an image of it ;)

  • Same problem as datarat: I don't have a globe either?
  • Problem solved - I had removed the select-a-font scrollbox from the toolbar. I uninstalled Webber, reinstalled, and there was the globe.
  • Thanks! The icon was hidden as unused, and I wasn't sure what it looked like. Great Plugin!
  • This is nice, but... is there anywhere a web-standards-compliant cross-browser compatible-HTML4 version? This still outputs the main pages in .mht format, which is basically a bunch of CDATA-enclosed proprietary MS-XML -- when boiled down, it just looks like a bunch of tables to me! (I'm not even daring to ask if there's an XHTML non-table something out there...that would be pushing it) But... Does such a thing exist?
  • Is there a way to get it to work on Vista (Business)?
    Cheers!
  • Is there a way for this to work with vista? When the click on the globe, nothing happens. I can only run the program through the command prompt and it still doesn't produce the correct files.
