Not sure what the Global Assembly Cache neans, but here I found something that looks like what we need here... However I wasn't able to install it.

Help!!

I'm using IE to download from the link provided but after I press install, I keep getting an error message. I can't find any info on the problem. Does anyone know what it means?

Unable to install or run the application. The application requires that assembly Microsoft.Office.Introp.OneNote Version 12.0.0.0 be installed in the Global Assembly Cache(GAC) first.

If you have problems, do not use the downloaded / saved file. Open IE and go to that page http://www.einsteintech.net/apps/publish/OneNot... again. It worked for me.
Also works with the German version of onenote 2007, which i use.

Hi,
I feel I must be a bit thick, as I have attempted to download the OneNote Calendar using IE as stated in the essential requirements. Having done so, there appears to be no obvious way to make the calendar install in OneNote as a useable feature.
Could you be a little bit more specific as to how to use IE to install the Calendar in OneNote.

Hey guys, the issue with the app manifests is because the ClickOnce installer currently requires you to use IE to download and install the app. Doesn't have to be your default browser, but to do the initial installation you need to be using IE.
